Automatic time zone detection |
Automatic time zone detection in the Webmail interface We are pleased to announce that we have introduced a new "Autodetect" option for the Webmail time zone settings. If you use this option instead of the previously available ones, Webmail will automatically detect your time zone, and apply it to the message timestamps. Additionally, system administrators can now set the time zone for all their email accounts globally from the online Control Panel - Mail Manager section. eHosted Support |

Warning: new mass hack/exploit for WordPress |
|
Please be advised that a new mass exploit for WordPress is rampant. All users with WordPress installations with version prior to 2.6.5. may be affected. The hackers gain access to WP through a previously installed backdoor. Many different vulnerabilities are used, as different versions of WordPress are affected. Once an account is compromised, a remv.php file is uploaded to it. Our system administrators have identified the common pattern of the exploit and disabled a specific cookie used by the hackers. Additionally, all the uploaded remv.php files have already been deleted from our servers. However, it is still necessary that all users upgrade to the latest WordPress version immediately. |

Webmail Tool of the Month |
Webmail access, goto http://www.YourDomain.com/webmail Fighting Spam - Junk Mail Folders Mail filtering allows you to selectively filter out mail messages based on the contents of their headers. Such emails can either be bounced back or they can be delivered to a Junk Mail folder, if you have this option activated for your mailbox. In the case when messages are bounced back to their sender, if a legitimate mail is rejected, the sender will be notified that you have a reject filter that matches the message, and will be able to try to contact you by other means (through another e-mail address or by telephone, for example).
